The weekend is almost here - perfect time to plan out a little day trip to take in the beautiful California coast and what better way to unwind from the week than by eating delicious, healthy, climate positive food? An hour away from Los Angeles, in South Orange County, Bear Coast Coffee’s two locations (in San Clemente and a recently opened joint in Dana Point) provide the perfect menu to feel completely replenished and energized. It consists of coffee directly sourced from responsible farmers as well as homemade goods.

Bear Coast Coffee was launched by Jeff and Jamie Clinard with the intention of bringing ethically crafted food that matches the wholesome vibes of beachtown living. Not only are they usually found in either location, their two kids Coen and Maddie are also little helpers, keeping it all in the family. The cafe is not just a place for food and coffee, it is a place for a community, and their partnership with CHOOOSE has enabled their menu to be completely climate positive, which means CHOOOSE offsets all of the unavoidable emissions created by the sourcing and distribution of the food.
