Contemporary art + climate measures = 🤩

OpenART, Scandinavia's largest biennial for contemporary art, integrate climate measures as they open their 2019 exhibition.

With 200 000 visitors, OpenART will take place during 12 summer weeks in Örebro in Sweden. Being placed in the public sphere, it aims to surprise, question and inspire - promoting a dialog about what art means to society.

80 artworks by more than 60 artists from 19 different nations will be showcased across the city; in the streets, parks, squares, shopping centres, building facades and more. Together with OpenART, CHOOOSE will reduce 1 ton of CO2 per artwork, in addition to compensating the footprint of every artist taking part.

For the 2019 edition, the Nordic countries will be in focus, with specially invited curators from Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland.

OpenART is totally free, so make sure to swing by the exhibition from June 8th and onwards!
